Showcase: Forever Amber


No Restoration series would be complete without the seductive Amber St. Claire. "Forever Amber ", published in 1944, was considered bawdy and immoral and was banned in Boston.  The Hayes office required many changes before it could be made into the classic movie starring Linda Darnell and Cornell Wilde. In the book, her fortune teller predicted she would have over a hundred lovers and rise to great power...Maybe these dresses helped?
